Muvizu

Designed to let people who can't animate make animations.

As Art Manager I devised Muvizu - a realtime 3D animation app built around the Unreal 3 Engine - then led the art, design and animation teams throughout.

The Register and BBC Click have said some kind things about Muvizu.

background painting from Gravity

Gravity

Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity was a multi-platform physics puzzle game.

As the project's Lead Artist I painted a hundred or so background images, designed the user interface and all in-game graphics. I also designed many of the puzzles.
3D rendering of a german world war two tank

Tank

I make 3D models - usually in Maya - for realtime games or pre-rendered animation.

However, this tank is a personal piece that was modelled, textured and rendered in Cinema4D.

Ruumz

This huge Asian social network has a virtual world at its heart.

While at Yomego I made the environments for the world. They were modelled and rendered in Lightwave before being transferred to a Flash client.

The ePoint kiosk was finalist in the Scottish Design Awards in 1998 and eventually awarded Millenium product status.

it was conceived, designed and manufactured by a tiny team of three product designers. In fact, I think I may have built that one in the photograph.
